Canadian Heritage's Access to Heritage – Museums Assistance Program supports the development and circulation of travelling exhibitions that help Canadian heritage organizations reach new audiences and improve access to Canada’s diverse cultural and natural heritage.
Deadline: November 1, 2026
Open to:
- Incorporated, non-profit Canadian museums that:
- Employ at least one paid professional staff member
- Have policies in place for key museum functions
- Incorporated, non-profit Canadian service organizations whose membership relates to the museum sector, such as museum associations, that employ at least one paid professional staff member
- Indigenous governing bodies
- Indigenous organizations in Canada with a mandate to preserve and support First Nations, Inuit and/or Métis heritage.
